Article 1. Standing Committees
§2-101 STANDING COMMITTEES; GENERAL PROVISIONS. At the
organizational meeting of the City Council, the Mayor shall appoint
members of such standing committees as the City Council may by
ordinance, or resolution create; Provided, however, the Mayor shall
each year appoint a Budget Committee. The membership of such
standing committees may be changed at any time by the Mayor. The
Mayor shall be a member ex officio of each standing committee.
The members of the standing committees shall serve
a term of office of one (1) year, unless reappointed.
